A very nice site. Not masses to do, but enough to keep the children happy. An updated play park and very nice quiet safe swimming pool keeps them happy and the whole slot machine scenario isn't forced upon you. The best part is that it's only a 5 minute walk from beautiful Druridge Bay with the best rock pools, safe sandy beach and the most fantastic ice cream parlour. I defy you not to enjoy it here! Nearby is Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Bamburgh, Newcastle, Morpeth, Cragside, Holy Island and lots more. It really is a beautiful part of the world.
