"This is one of our favourite campsites in Wales, excellent"
05-Oct-2011
This is one of our favourite campsites in Wales, excellent location - beach just down the steep steps, coast path right nearby, St Davids next door, lovely beaches all around. And great ice cream.

"Anyone who has been here will want to kill me"
05-May-2011
Anyone who has been here will want to kill me for sharing this review - this is such a lovely site you want to keep it to yourself! Caerfai Farm is an organic farm and makes it own cheese. It's adjacent to the caravan and camping park but entirely independent of it and a separate enterprise. The lovely gently sloping site has wonderful views of Caerfai Bay and you can set off on fantastic walks along the coastal path. The on-site shop sells the cheese, local produce and a selection of Suma healthfood type stuff: it's very good. The site also has solar and wind powered shower and toilet blocks and they are spotless. It would be advisable to book ahead in busy periods as it is a gorgeous spot. St Davids is a short stroll away and has a lovely range of little shops and cafes - Cwtch is good, but it's also v hard to beat the delicious scones in the cathedral's refectory - fab strawberry jam. There's an excellent ice cream shop and a good little deli. Plenty of space for children to run around. I just hope no-one recognises me from this review - I might just have to go into hiding!
