"Not technically camping, more glamping. You stay in a fabulous"
17-Jul-2009
Not technically camping, more glamping. You stay in a fabulous Mongolian yurt with your own eco-friendly compost toilet and 'field kitchen'. All organic cotton bedding on the beds - which are ready and made up for you, you only need bring towels. Each yurt has a log stove to keep you warm and dry when it rains. You cook on the gas stove in your field kitchen, on your BBQ or on one of the stoves in the large, shared field kitchen (where there is room for a large group of you to eat in comfort). Shower block has no mains lighting (you use candles or led lights) but all the hot running water you need. Three yurts in all - two next to each other (good for families holidaying together) and one up on the hill. Our DSs loved it. There was a guard around the stove to prevent burnt fingers and plenty of wide open spaces to run around. Lots of places to visit around there. Would even be nice in winter!
