Barn Farm

Went mid week, mid august.
Friendly site with cleaner toilets and showers than most pubs/resturants.childrens play area PKU loads of space.very family friendly vibe
Lovely village-2 welcoming pubs-1 gastro type establishment,the other more boots and dog friendly.both really welcoming with great food.
Only down side of site is it's position right next to a quarry ( hidden) personally didn't hear it but dh was aware of the truck etc.

This is a very well run campsite - organised, but in a comfortable way. There are good toilets and nice hot showers. We went over the Aug bank holiday and it was busy so were queues for the facilities but the rest of the time was fine. The campsite is set in lovely countryside and has a lot of things to do in the nearby area.

Had a great time, lovely and clean and the village is lovely, with 2 good pubs that serve food. Staff were helpful and friendly and they have Llamas in the field next door for the kids.
The site was really busy when we were there, so was queues for the showers in the morning, but not evening time.
It's a great base for waliking or site seeing round the peaks.

If you avoid saturday night I'm sure this is a fab campsite. The main camping field was huge, pitch where you like and we had loads of space for a quick game of football or cricket and a easy walk to two lovely food serving pubs. Its got a games room and loads and loads of toilets and showers which were always clean. Only downside is the roudy groups that turned up on saturday night, if you like that sort of thing Great! but if you want a quiet site try mid week.

Brilliant campsite with great pitches. Plenty of facilities, helpful staff and a wonderful area to visit, A++ all around!
