Ashurst Camping & Caravan Park

Fabulous staff, and a nice, woody site. Toilet block is clean and well kept (although could do with more showers ... we were there over a busy weekend, and there were constant queues). For us, it was a bit too noisy - lots of large groups playing music til late - but the staff did really try and keep a lid on things.
Pitches are on a 'choose your own' basis, so it's worth getting there early, if you can.

Lovely site for camping in the New Forest.
Ponies by the tent every morning, staff very helpful and nature walks in the evening.
No play areas for the toddlers but easy access to the New Forest. Ashurst really is the gateway to the New Forest.Facilities kept very clean and very reasonably priced pitches.

We had a lovely weekend in beautiful New Forest staying at Ashurst camping. The site is fairly basic, but the surroundings beautiful and it is very family-friendly. It is really close to the beautiful village of Ashurst. We brought our bikes and it felt very safe leaving them on the campsite.
The staff were also very friendly and we have already booked another weekend in June and cannot wait to return.
