"Dolphins alone worth the price…"
Please don't bother with the sea-lions (yawnarama) but otherwise, start with the dolphins and then enjoy a lovely day out. Small enough not to feel overwhelming, large enough to please everyone, and surprisingly educational and entertaining. Don't forget your swimsuits for the water parks, do go into the aquarium bit to look at (and feel) fish, rays, sharks etc. Just lovely. Bring sandwiches - food rubbish and overpriced.Read moreLess
"Took our toddler here this summer. It's easy to walk…"
Took our toddler here this summer. It's easy to walk around, ie not too vast. There's a good variety of things to look at and do: we went to the aquarium, saw both the dolphin and sea-lion shows, went on the fairground and the water rides (toddler didn't go on the latter) and spent time in the outdoor pools.
I would think as kids get older they can join in with even more activities. There are three pools covering all ages. Two water rides and a small fairground. It's far more animal-based than rides based. I'm not usually a fan of cooped-up animals but we needed a day out and the trainers really seemed to care for the dolphins/ sea-lions. We thought entry was a bit steep but the dolphin show was practically worth that by itself. We had four hours there (as didn't want toddler to be there too long) and could have filled many more.Read moreLess
