Phantasialand

Phantasialand is a really high-quality theme park, with great rides, food and service in a nice setting. There were lots of big thrills as well as smaller attractions for our younger ones. You need at least a couple of days to cover all the ground.

There are two hotels on site - we stayed at Hotel Matamba - an African themed hotel which was pretty authentic and well-done. (The restaurant menu included ostrich and kudu). The slightly more upmarket hotel - Ling Bao - has an outdoor pool, which would make a nice interlude on Summer weekends.

The facilities, restaurants and shops are very high-quality and good value. And everything is spotlessly clean. It's a very quick flight from Stanstead and makes a fab venue for a special weekend break.

Beautiful park and surroundings for the animals. Highlight is the jeep safari. Great shows and demonstrations. Loved the raging river ride and dinosaur ride. Fantastic service and staff, always polite and helpful. Rides really fun. Grounds/cleanliness - immaculate.
