"I had a 2 night stay at Champneys Springs. I"
27-Oct-2011
I had a 2 night stay at Champneys Springs. I have been to Tring before but as Springs is cheaper we thought we would try it. It seemed more relaxed than Tring and a little more welcoming plus you can do the usual celeb spotting (does Frank Bruno have part ownership of Champneys he always seems to be in them!!).
Lots of space to slump on a sofa and doze or read a book before jumping back in the jacuzzi. The pool is lovely with really nice views across countryside. The gym was great, and pretty empty most of the time. You can borrow bikes or go to lots of classes but we just didn't have time to fit it all in. My treatments were fantastic especially the Babor hot stone.
The food was amazing, really lovely and tasty and not at all diety! You certainly wouldn't go hungry.
I'm not sure if it is the same at Tring, but they are happy for you to borrow products to try overnight. A great way to see if you like it before purchasing.
I'm looking forward to my next visit and would recommend to all.Read moreLessMumsnetter glitch
