Champneys Forest Mere

DIVINE!! Was very lucky to be able to stay for 2 nights so really got into it. Fab room with beautiful views over the lake. They insist you wander around in one of their soft robes during the day even if you have your workout kit on under it and are heading off to one of their brilliant exercise classes. fantastic food. Treatments for me where no better then your average salon. It was more about the freedom to roam about at my own pace drink tea, flick through mags and fall asleep on a comfy stylish lounger when ever the fancy took. So peaceful. Would highly recommend.

I'm a repeat visitor here, going either with my mum or with friends, although plenty of people also go with their partner. The whole experience is so relaxing. The treatments are geat, food yummy, friendly staff and the big pool a joy to swim in. not sure it's worth staying over though as the rooms are nothing special and there is nothing to do in the evenings, best to just go for a day trip. Worth looking out for deals too as they often come up on their website. It really is the perfect escape and always leaves me recharged and distressed. I can't recommend it enough.

Went here on a hen weekend and had a great time. Not the plushest, but good packages and lots of facilities/ activities. I was exhausted (in a good way) by the end because I did so much!
