Just back from a midweek break at Sandy Balls for Whitsun Half Term. We stayed in an Oak Ensuite Lodge which was lovely, clean and seemed quite new. We had a minor non draining shower tray in our ensuite which we reported and was fixed within 2 hours. We had a lovely time and the local area is great for day trips out etc.
There are childrens clubs which you have to book (ASAP from arriving I would say as we obviously left it a bit late and only managed to book one session), they are mainly arts and crafts things and also sporty type activties, some are free and some cost justRead moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

Set in a beautiful location and with plenty to in and around the holiday centre. Staff are all friendly and helpful, the Bistro is lovely and the evening childrens entertainment excellent. The holiday lodges are comfortable, well furnished and clean. The organised woodland walks were a highlight. Will go again.

My children thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Sandy Balls.
We stayed in a caravan and we took our two dogs with us.
The kids enjoyed the adventure park and swimming pool facilities.
There are lovely walks nearby where you can see plenty of wildlife including deers.
It was a clean, peaceful site and we would visit again.
It tends to book up quickly in high season.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

We loved our week at Sandy Balls! We stayed in a wooden lodge with another family - the two kids were 18 and 20 months. We were a bit squished - but the weather was nice and we made the most of the outdoor space and private BBQ area. The facilities and entertainment available meant you could just hang around the site all morning/afternoon. We also went bike riding and saw loads of donkeys, horses, and cows roaming freely. We went to 3 different beaches on the south coast - all great for kids. We loved Sandbanks which was only a 40 min ride away. We are going again.

Nice wooden lodge accommodation, good facilities on site, lovely countryside. A little like CenterParcs but on a much smaller scale and very friendly. Indoor pool, outdoor adventure playground, indoor toddler soft play area, pub, bistro, beauty salon, supermarket, information centre, gift shop, bike hire. Would definitely go again.
