"The cottages are close by the owner's own property in…"
12-Oct-2007
The cottages are close by the owner's own property in a quiet and tranquil setting. Converted from a previous barn, they offer warm and cosy holiday accomodation ideal for exploring the Snowdonia National Park. It is a great base for visiting all the narrow gauge railways used in the slate industry.
The cottages have well equipped kitchens including washing machines which can be handy when travelling with youngsters. There are Double bedrooms and twin rooms as well as a well appointed shower/bathroom. Central heating is included in the price and Mr & Mrs Roberts make everyone extremely welcome. No dogs are allowed as this is an old farm property and there are sheep in the field accross from the cottages.
Mr Roberts is in the process of building a children's play area in the field next to the cottages to include sandpits.
We have had three holidays in 12 months here and cannot recommend it enough. You are close enough to the port of Holyhead to take a daytrip over to Ireland if you so wish. The property is let on a self catering basis. There are no childcare facilities, but if you are on a family holiday, why would you leave you children with anyone else?Read moreLess2 people found this review helpful.
