We had a lovely time here. The apartment was spacious and thoughtfully done which included stuff for the kitchen (eg herbs) not usually provided and lots of books DVDs games etc -the weather was a bit dodgy and the children got a bit obsessed with monopoly .They also learned to ride a bicycle (amongst the toys provided) harassed the chickens and chicks and went looking for (and seeing ) badgers in the woods .Read moreLess
"This is a fantastic place to stay with a family…"
This is a fantastic place to stay with a family - the first truly 'family friendly' place we've stayed. Everything we needed was provided, all free of charge. Ruud and Jack are great hosts, and really like children, - they might even inspire to to persue the 'good life' too! We considered coming in the summer, but it was a bit expensive for us (though I'd have to say worth every penny if you can do it!) Take a look at their off season and short break prices. Brilliant for kids, brilliant for parents.Read moreLess
"A fantastic place to stay with children of all ages.…"
A fantastic place to stay with children of all ages. More luxury break than 'farm' with pampering treatments and a personal chef service available (which is well worth booking for at least one night of your stay). Loads of things for children to do in a very relaxing environment for the parents. All the cottages are furnished and kitted out to a very high spec including handmade soap and shampoo (a lovely treat!). Very welcoming hosts who are more than willing to provide a wealth of local information including some great walks. We will be returning as soon as possible!Read moreLess
