"Fantastic Holiday for Toddlers…"
I've been to CP Whinfell twice now. It is the smallest of all the CP sites which in my view means it works really well for pre schoolers.
I first took DD when she was 6 months and due to the fact it is a smaller site we found we could take her everywhere in a baby carrier. When she went at 18 months she was able to toddle from the accommodation to the pool herself.
I think it is worth booking the Flying Start package to get in early and avoid the queues. I would also recommend paying a little extra to choose your accommodation as being close to the centre is handy.
The best thing about Centre Parcs is how well the children sleep after a day running around and swimming. DH and I were able to sit out on the patio with the BBQ and wine and enjoy long evenings to ourselves.Read moreLess

"We've been going to Whinfell Center Parcs for 7 yrs…"
We've been going to Whinfell Center Parcs for 7 yrs and we LOVE IT!! Plenty for the kids to do, huge swimming pool, lovely accommodation. We've stayed in the comfort lodges which are prefercly adequate for our needs. Clean & comfy. Have also stayed in the new style lodges & they're beautiful.
Plenty of places to eat, great supermarket (allbeit a bit mor expensive) but you can always visit Penrith fo stock up as we do.
We've done the Winter Wonderland & its magical.
Would love to go over Christmas & trying my very best to save to go there in a few yrs.Read moreLess

"Great place for a family break. Will def be going…"
Great place for a family break. Will def be going back. It was expensive but worth every penny as we all enjoyed it and felt amazingly relaxed. Regarding some other posts on Whinfell - the pool complex is open from 9.30am each day for the under 3s. There are two main outdoor play areas and one is really good for smaller kids. There are quite a few indoor play areas including one hidden away upstairs in the Village Centre.Read moreLess
