"We went in August and enjoyed it. The cottages are…"
We went in August and enjoyed it. The cottages are very well equipped, and there are plenty of things to do, golf, tennis etc at Celtic Haven and plenty of places to go on trips or on rainy days. The indoor pool is lovely and warm, there's a hot tub too. Service in the restaurant can be a bit hit and miss, but the food was good. Cant agree with the previous review about the availability of cots, my son needed a larger one than the one supplied and it was delivered within half an hour (on a Sunday). The disadvantages was mainly the beach, which is difficult to get to and not that great when you get there as it is quite stony. Much better to go by car to the beaches of Tenby which are more suitable for small children. Another small minus point for the play area which is not at all suitable for toddlers. All in all a great holiday, but Celtic haven is possibly more suited to families with older children.Read moreLess

Nice accommodation, but appalling service. They claim to talk to all clients before you arrive to ensure all your needs are met, but the staff were only proactive when extracting money from us. It was a complete ordeal to get basics like stairgates and high-chairs. According to their promotional literature, we will 'want for nothing', but they don't supply cot-sheets and only enough toilet paper and dishwasher tablets to last us the first day...oh and one bin bag to last 12 people for a week.
We spent 3.5 grand (all money due well in advance) on hiring two cottages for our wedding party for the week before our wedding. Considering we spent a lot of money and it was a special occasion for us (as we kept telling them), we would have hoped for a bit more effort. We felt that guests were being barely tolerated, rather than welcomed.Read moreLess
