Really nice resort, and a lovely room (1st floor, beach front, with a door on the balcony so it was safe for our little one). Couldn't fault the room. Good park on site. Lovely flat beach for kids and best of all boxes of toys everywhere!
Wouldn't go here without kids but it was perfect for our 2 year old. Breakfast in the hotel was a bit rubbish, wouldn't bother paying for it again. Didn't try it for dinner but had pizzas a couple of times from the beach bar - yum. Didn't try the childcare as it started at age 3 / 4.
Basically a good, pretty good value, nice break with kids.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

Stayed here in early July 2010 and it was gr eat. Pools and apartments clean with a good gentle slope in to the water and plenty of sun loungers so there is no need for getting up early to put the towels out.
A gentle stroll either along the road or along the beach front to the town will open up some other restaurants and bars all of which are child friendly serving a mixf Spanish and English food. We ate at the hotel which was OK and the evening buffet had some special things if you asked the chef behind the grill. I am sure they were looking for different thngs to cook from the usual.
Went on a trip to the South Island which was good for the kids. We were back after lunch so not too long. Also took the local bus to Arrecife which was nice. Go to the top...17th floor...of the grand hotel on the beach front. there is a cheap cafe and a great view. Spent the day there in the town and on the beach which was nice. The local bus only costRead moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

We stayed here in 2007 so it may have changed since.
Accommodation was adequate, although the bed is among one of the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. Everywhere was buggy accessible and our son enjoyed paddling in the pool and using the playground.
The hotel is within walking distance of town and we liked Costa Teguise. Don't bother eating at the hotel restaurant its not very nice.
All in all if you are looking for a reasonably priced family holiday close to lots of amenities, this is an ok place.Read moreLessMumsnetter rookiemater

"Perfect for young families, relaxed atmosphere, clean and safe surroundings.…"

Perfect for young families, relaxed atmosphere, clean and safe surroundings. Apartments vary from studio to 2 bedrooms. Although one bed apartments also have a pull down bed and sofa bed in living area. 2 bed ones are spacious with 2 bathrooms and kitchen. Cleaned every day. Easy to request cots and high chairs. Most apartments situated around pools with lots of shallow water for little ones. Complex has a sheltered private beach (man-made) with shallow water and apartments along it. We stayed in one of these and only had to walk a few metres to the beach, perfect for my 3 year old. You can self-cater, do half-board or all-inclusive. Two restaurants in the complex, food mediocre. A supermarket which is hugely overpriced, there are cheaper ones nearby in the resort but we were too lazy and got ripped off (14 euros for a tub of powdered formula!). There's a beauty treatment place where I had a decent massage. Small gym (on holiday?! It was empty). Nightclub which has a children's disco early each evening we were told it was good but didn't go. Games room with pool, table tennis, etc. Every day there's a kids club which apparently was great but for 4 year olds upwards so we didn't try it. Staff really good with children, on the whole really friendly and helpful. Reception could occasionally be a bit slow. Heard that apartments near the main hotel building got nighclub noise, so steer away from those. Rest of complex really quiet at night. Big bonus is that resort is only 10-15 minutes taxi ride from Arrecife airport. Sun shone every day for us, very little rain but can be a bit windy at times. Resort very modern and touristy, restaurants and bars purely for tourist trade but child friendly and relaxed, no evidence of Lanzagrotty.
