Logis Du Pressoir - Loire Valley

The kids loved it and so did we. Really beautiful and luxurious gites set in a fantastic and huge garden complete with lots of toys, both inside and out. Lisa and Mark had thought of everything and nothing was too much trouble. The kids even had an ensuite! This is also of course a beautiful area of France to explore, with loads to do even if the weather isn't perfect (though it was for us - sorry to be smug!) I would recommend Logis du Pressoir without hesitation.

Stayed there last year with our three year old and one year old. Lovely, lovely people, beautiful accommodation. Really set up for kids (high chairs, kids cutlery, stairgates where necessary) and SO quiet, our two didn't wake most mornings until gone 9am (unheard of!).

We had a wonderful stay here with our 14 month old son - it was our first family holiday abroad. The owners, Lisa and Mark went out of their way to help us, suggesting places to eat and day trips out. Some of our best days were spent relaxing by the pool - the surrounding grounds are beautiful. The box of toys on arrival as well as the toys outside (cars, wendy house etc), did a very good job of keeping our son entertained. We hope to return one day.

Had a fantastic stay here in May 11, the perfect location to relax with little ones in tow. Our 2 year old loved it and there is so much to do in the surrounding area. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and we had a great stay from start to finish.

Fantastic, safe setting to take young children to. Big box of toys supplied in our gite, as well as many books. Lots of ride-on toys and the swing and slide in the huge garden were also a big hit. Cot, baby bath and potty supplied meant we could travel reasonably lightly. Highly likely that we will return!

We have just been to Logis Du Pressoir based on the other reviews on this site and it fully lived up to the recommendations. Lovely cosy gites, large, beautiful tot-friendly grounds, friendly & helpful owners, great location with lots to do. And only 3 hours drive from the ferry. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The Logis du Pressoir is the perfect place for a family holiday. Ideal for toddlers or older kids. We have been twice as we ran out of time to do everything there was on offer the first year. The owners go out of their way to ensure you and your children have a wonderful holiday. There will be a special box of toys for the right age range waiting for you on arrival and food and wine for the grown-ups. The area around is packed full of trips out to please everyone from chateaux to fun parks.

This place is such a gem, I can't recommend it enough. We have stayed twice because we and our DS (3) and DD (1) love it so much. There are four gites which are finished beautifully in a very traditional french style, set in 3 acres of land and a swimming pool. It is very child friendly with lots of toys and activities - including a fabulous tree-house! The English owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. We are almost definitely going back again next year!
