Las Joyitas

We have just returned from this charming 3 bedroomed retreat through a last minute deal via Owners Direct. We rented one of two three bedroomed apartments. Ours was on the ground floor which benefitted from its own lovely private garden. The apartments are in the rural countryside in the tranquil north west of the island just a short drive from many beautiful beaches including our favourite Benniras. The apartments are clean, comfortable and simply furnished with the many of the owners own pieces (he's an upholsterer) in a typically Ibizan style. The apartments are just over the road from a great restaurant which also has a wonderful supermarket selling everything you could possibly need including Illy coffee and espadrilles. Great location to explore the chic north and the rest of the island is really accessible. We chartered a speed boat for the day too from San Antonio which was our holiday highlight along with the wonderful owner, Mark who also treated our ten year old girls to a morning of silk screen printing in his workshop. Hope to be back myself for one of his crafty retreats in the winter.
