"If you're looking for a stress-free holiday with endless activities…"
If you're looking for a stress-free holiday with endless activities to keep the kids amused then I would definitely recommend renting a self-catered 'rudechalet' in Morzine, France.
We rented their self-catered 'Chalet Chapelle', which sleeps 10 and is right in the centre of Morzine (ridiculously close to all amenities and the Super Morzine lift). We were impressed by its funky decor, cleanliness and the quality of service they provided. They organised our transfer from Geneva airport which meant we were at our chalet within 90 minutes and helped us devise an itinery for the week to allow us to do everything we wanted. Every bedroom even had an Xbox 360!
We decided to go to the Alps for a summer holiday because it boasted so much for the kids to do - and it didn't disappoint. There were so many activities on offer we didn't know where to begin - we could have gone canoeing, canyoning, climbing, cycling, horse riding, ice skating, play tennis, swimming, and water skiing - although we spent most of our time walking and absorbing the spectacular views. The kids really enjoyed the treetop adventure park which allowed them to explore aerial runways, boardwalks, ropes, ladders and swings with a guide. We also went horseriding and summer sledging which rudechalets kindly organised for us.
We will definitely be returning again this year.Read moreLess
