"A five star hotel with rooms and service that do…"
A five star hotel with rooms and service that do not live up to this standard!
We were travelling with a two year old son and the first three days of the holiday were completely stressful. Due to the collapse of XL Airlines, Mark Warner are using a new carrier that does not tell you until you check in that the plane actually takes 6 hours to get to Egypt with a stop over in Athens. It was appalling. We stocked up on Pret A Manger for the flight but there was nothing nutritious or appetising to supplement our sandwiches (dried up pizza was offered) and ended up having to ration our food for our little boy to get us through the flight!
Also no baby changing facilities on the flight!
Arrived at the resort - our child had no bed ready and the room they expected him to sleep in looked like an NCP car park with furniture added - broken lamp, no soft lighting and very light curtains so that he woke at 4.30 in the morning!
We had to give him our double bed and were given camp beds to sleep on until they finally agreed to find us another room - actually trying to charge us in the process! We refused of course.
No healthy snacks in between meals (chips and burgers) and when we tried to take some fruit from the breakfast buffet - it was practically wrestled out of our hands and we were told it was against regulations!
Drinks service really slow and reluctant babysitters.
I would NOT recommend this resort or the associated flight for anyone!Read moreLess
