Best hotel ever! About 2 hours from Bangkok in a pictureesque and unspoilt part of Thailand. There are about 10 lodges, right on the River Kwai. This hotel is owned by a young Dutch couple and it's set amongst beautiful, tropical gardens. The restaurant is fantastic and they are happy to organise day trips for you. We bathed elephants and went on an elephant trek, swam in the Erwan waterfalls which were amazing and visited the Tiger Temple where my kids played and fed tiger cubs. Extremely family friendly and simply perfect!
