Grand Pineapple Beach Resort

We were with a party of 8 for our grandfather's 90th birthday celebrations, including our 13 month old daughter. The flight out (daytime) was a bit torrid, though she did sleep. Had a nap as soon as we got to our room, waking up at 8.30pm in time to catch the tail end of dinner. A couple there was moaning about the quality of the food (all-inclusive) but I never had a bad meal there and I'm a semi-foodie. Fantastic range of breakfasts and lunches, which our daughter tucked into with gusto (she mysteriously got over her habit of spitting out food while there). Such a relief not to have to clean up the piles of food under the table though... dinners were fine, we ate twice int he pineapple grill but it was far too late for winnie, who would wake at 4am and need to be put down for the night by 5pm. I'm quite sporty so was delighted at the range of watersports (kayaking, sailing, snorkelling) and managed to get to the gym once. Rooms basic but very clean; staff lovely. great place for a family to go in that it wasn't too stuffy, but you felt looked after. wish I'd booked a babysitter just so i could have some sun-lounger time!
