Evason Ana Mandara

A beautiful resort with beach facing bungalows and mountainous jungle at the rear. The bungalows are very charmingly decorated in Vietnamese style with intricately craved wood and luxurious brightly coloured silk textiles. The bathroom was very clean and exactly what you would expect from a 5 star resort. Fresh fruit was placed in the room on a daily basis. The beach the resort faced onto was glorious with sable, soft sand and turquoise, warm water. The outdoor infinity pool faced onto the beach with a lovely decking area surrounding.
Tai Chi classes and spa treatments are available from the spa area also facing onto the beach...so relaxing with the sound of the waves and tropical scents wafting through the air!
The highlight for me was the restaurant whose head chef is Australian. He grows his own herbs in the resort and his Vietnamese fayre has a very edgy western influence. The highlights for my were lemongrass icecream, tomato jam at breakfast and sticky prawn Vietnamese rice balls....yum!
Oh, and there are plenty activities for kids provided by the resort.
The town is also a short walk away with lots to do and experience! A lovely holiday!
