Perfect for families - most rooms have kitchenettes (you need to request though), so you can buy basics from the mini mart and do snacks and breakfast at low cost, and really importantly the main pool has shade on and around parts of it throughout the day. My little boy was in the water the WHOLE time and was protected from the worst of the rays, as were Mummy and Granny and Grandad whilst we played with him. He learnt to snorkel and went out over a real shipwreck and saw millions of fish and turtles. Baby turtles hatched one night right below our balcony and we helped rescue them and put them out to sea. Magical. Staff at the hotel were adorable and warm. A simple, wholesome, down to earth family holiday. Enough games and facilities to keep us busy for a week but no farming kids off to a club - proper quality time. Flight time to amd from Barbados is really manageable too. Virgin were excellent with great entertainment for everyone. We prebooked the V-Room at Gatwick - well worth it if you have to get to the airport early.
