"Fab A.I. hotel, great for kids.…"
Just returned from first holiday abroad with 2 DS 5 and 9 and DP.
Was anxious for everything to go well and it was as near perfect as we could have hoped for.
Booked through Thomas Cook and choose hotel for kids facilities.
4 fab interlinked pools. Not huge so perfect for younger children with main pool having gentle slop in.
Mix of British and French families.
Kids club available but my kids didn't use it as they were happy to play by pool. Seemed well run though.
Couple of poolside activities each day for anyone to join in but not intrusive.
Just built a fab water park adjacent to hotel. Lovely to be able to pop in FOC for a break from the pool. Kids loved it.
Food - bar snacks availble till 10pm. Usual burgers, hot dogs, toasted sandwiches, salads. Average quality but food in restaurant good.
Wide selection with lots of fish, meat salads, fruit.
Service excellent.
Had option of 1 meal in Japanese restaurant which we didn't take.
Location - 4km outside San Antonio. Good to experience sunsets at Cafe Del Mar and okay for kids if you avaoid the clubby bit.
Small beach 1/4 mile away from where boat taxi can take you to San Antonio ( quicker than bus) and Cala Basa, Cala Conta for fab, though crowded beaches.
Evening entertainment - good standard. Usual singers, quiz 1 night, flamenco dancers. Very enjoyable.
Asked for a see view which we got. Lovely, spacious Air-conditioned room, serviced daily. Some of the rooms further back however looked a bit pokey.
Definately recommend for a stress free family hoilday.Read moreLess
