Sheraton La Caleta Spain

A very quiet and spacious hotel with plenty of facilities for children. The hotel has a baby pool, playground, kids club where you can leave children from 3, but where children under three can play and take part in activities. Excellent staff in the kids club. In addition there is a large heated children's pool, and of course other outside pools. The restaurant, if you have half board is buffet style and the food is very good There is a "childs buffet" which I thought was a bit odd in its choice of food, but whatever, the rest of the buffet offered more than enough choice for us. Big hit was of course the fresh pasta station. The rooms are large enough to accommodate a cot or even two without much trouble. There is tea and coffee making equipment and each room has not only a mini bar but also a little fridge for the guests own things. Excellent for keeping milk and food for children. Although on the sea, the hotel is about 10 min walk from a beach, along a waterfront walkway which also features a number of play areas for smaller children. Playa del Duque is the next beach and has a lot of nice loungy bars and restaurants.
