Have been to Sensatori Tenerife 4 times now as the nursery is absolutely excellent. I think it is 3 months - 4 years. The staff are just really great and the hotel itself is lovely.

"This was the first time we had taken our children"
05-Oct-2011
This was the first time we had taken our children abroad 3 1/2 and 11 months and it was amazing.
The staff were brilliant with the children and event though we went out of season when there was very limited child care available all had a brilliant time.
We had such a good time in fact we are looking at booking again for next year!Read moreLessMumsnetter Heather22

Stunning hotel and grounds.
Kids club and nursery amazing. All UK staff.
Pools all lovely. Great 'pirate' pool for toddlers.
Food pretty good, albeit menus are quite restrictive for Sensatori guests.
Entertainment good for kids and adults.
Returning this summer for 2 weeks.Read moreLessMumsnetter Bumptobirthbeyond

"Sensatori (or the Gran MelÍa) Tenerife is perfect if you"
07-Mar-2011
Sensatori (or the Gran MelÍa) Tenerife is perfect if you want a luxury hotel for a family holiday. This was our first holiday abroad with our daughter who at the time was nine months old.
The hotel building and ground are sumptuous and the watchword is 'serenity' from the moment you arrive. The rooms are gorgeous and well-equipped with an iPod dock, cable flat screen TV and radio.
From an infinity pool which is half a km long to a special family area, there are plenty of places to relax, swim and play. Inflatables and toys are banned from the pool but there are plenty of activities by the family pool to keep little ones entertained. There are designated adults only areas too which are peaceful!
If you have younger children I would recommend hiring a Bali Bed. These are huge day beds with curtains and were brilliant for nap times or keeping DD out of the sun.
The Thomson children's activities are fantastic. There is a nursery for younger babies and a childen's club for 4 plus. There are morning, afternoon and evening sessions and even sleepovers. The activites are themed, varied and lots of fun.
As this is full board plus, you receive drinks with your meals. The main buffet restaurant is superb with lots of choice. All of your meat or fish is cooked fresh in front of you so there are no giant trays sitting out for ages.
There are three other restaurants to choose from which have waiter service: an Italian, a Spanish a la carte and a grill. All of the food was delicious with plenty of choice.
What really made our holiday extra special were the staff. They were all very friendly and brilliant with our daughter.
I am looking forward to a return visit already!Read moreLessMumsnetter KenDoddsDadsDog
