"We stayed here June 2011 for a week. Would agree"
27-Jun-2011
We stayed here June 2011 for a week.
Would agree with a lot of what Squiffy said...
Food was good. The only A la carte restaurant we tried was the italian which was great.
3 outdoor pools, one indoor pool - albeit kids can only use that one from 8am-1pm.
There was free scuba lessons in teh pool, beach volleyball, free use of kayaks and pedalloes, although jet skis were extra.
Spa facilities were good, I had 2 treatments (which only cost me 60 euro) but didnt use the sauna, hammam or hairdresser whilst there.
Staff very friendly, manager Savas was fantastic and the restuarant staff were great with kids.
Didnt use the childcare options but many did and seemed happy.
Rooms spotless, albeit not very large unless you have a large suite.
A truly relaxing holiday.Read moreLessMumsnetter Becaroooo

"Very 5-star, despite being all-inclusive. Having done Mousses (and loved"

Very 5-star, despite being all-inclusive. Having done Mousses (and loved it) I wanted to have that kind of relaxation, but with someone else doing the cooking and cleaning.
We all loved this place.
It's a very large all-inclusive hotel on the beach, with gym, spa, children's club, 4 pools and 4 different restaurants. Buffet restaurant was actually good (something I wasn't expecting), Pizza and pasta available every day for the kids and choice of at least 8 different mains for adults. I'm an insufferable snob about these things normally, but the buffet place was so good that we didn't even bother trying the other restaurants (Italian, Asian, Greek) until the second week.
Kids loved the children's club and the evening entertainment was as cheesy as you would expect in these places. Rooms were clean, bright, and everywhere the staff were very helpful and nothing too much trouble. There is a 'club' block of accommodation which has a quieter private pool, but we hardly bothered using it because the kids loved one of the other pools (huge but 0.4m deep everywhere so good for the younger ones). No gripes at all. Recommend that you book a taxi transfer (20 mins) because if you take a coach transfer you have to wait for other planes to land.
The English guests were all 'PLU' - v middle class and the kind of people that will end up booking villa holidays when the kids are older - exactly the same type of people who do Mousses. There are lots of Russians in the resort, and a few other nationalities. Probably more English than any other nationality.
I'd recommend this place for anyone with kids aged 2-10. Older kids might get bored I guess.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.
