"Lovely relaxing holiday for all ages.…"
06-Sep-2012
Spent a week here with two teens (age 13 and 17) in late August.
We stayed on the 'Village' side which comprises several block of rooms, some of which are quite a long way away from the main complex and restaurant. The rooms were lovely and I would guess they have been recently refurbished - especially the bathrooms.
Food was amazing. Have your dinner in the Marina restaurant if you can (need to arrive early or late) and watch the sunset. Plenty of choice and variety.
We were Full Board Plus, which meant drinks outside of meal times weren't included. It would have been nice if we could have got bottles of water free of charge but they weren't too dear and we all drank loads (of soft drinks) at meal times anyway.
The Children's paradise pools area was lovely and we spent most our time there. There were always free sunbeds at the top of the site, what ever time you turned up and lots of natural shade under the trees. The boys loved the big slides, but most of the site was more suitable for slightly younger children.
The beach isn't ideal for young children as the sea deepens very quickly and the waves can be quite big. There is sand, but it's very coarse and not that nice to walk on plus it turns to stones as soon as you enter the water.Read moreLessMumsnetter GreenShadow

Great facilities, but the sea is inappropriate for small kids, though the sandy beach is nice. And the baby club failed to interest my 2 year old.

Mumsnetters' comments: Families of all ages liked this large resort: "it worked well for our teenagers, lots to do, but perfectly safe so they had some freedom and we got a rest". Those with younger children were also happy: "great childcare" and "lots to do outside the kids club". There's a "great choice of restaurants", the food's " fantastic" and the setting "sensational". Accommodation was "lovely" and everyone praised the "friendly, helpful staff", "amazing facilities" and entertainment, which was "of a high, professional standard". Overall:"If you have kids and still want your own holiday, go here".
