Firstly, it's not a hotel, la bas du bourg is a privately owned gite. It has three double bedrooms, an open plan lounge-diner-kitchen, a small bbq area and massive quarter-acre enclosed field opposite the lovely huge mullioned kitchen window, that belongs to the house. It's very relaxing as there are walks round the village (it has a church and a granite museum) and countryside walks starting from the front door.
The beaches are just under an hour's drive but they are fantastic - large and uncrowded. This is the place for a cheap family holiday. it's clean and comfortable and very affordable. the prices are on their web site www.labasdubourg.co.uk but you have to call them (England, not France!) for availability.Read moreLessMumsnetter berno
