Hotel Sa Marina, Spain

This hotel is spotlessly clean - you can see people cleaning all day long. The staff were very friendly and kind to my children.

Outside are two pools, one in front of the hotel and one behind. There is a lovely little children's pool too which is ideal for toddlers.

The food was lovely with a usually extensive choice of fish and meat for dinner, however my only gripe is that on the day we left (we had a morning flight) the hotel informed us that they would be providing a cold breakfast. In the event it was stale bread rolls and little else so I was unimpressed with that! A guy there told us it was the same every year when he visited.

Nearby, there is a town with lots of shops to look around. I found things like basic groceries quite expensive so it may work out better to go AI in this hotel.

Wonderful, clean acommodation for families as it is actually an 'aparthotel'- therefore giving you the benefit of apartment style one bedroomed accommodation - with large bathroom, kitchenette and living area. All apartments have large balconies with expensive patio furniture (none of that cheap white rubbish- actual wicker chairs! Lovely!)
The restaurant offers a good variety of food and is very family friendly - the staff love the children and make them feel very welcome.
There is a childrens club on site which takes from ages four onwards. The childrens staff also double up in the evening as entertainers and are very good and work extremely hard.
Professional acts also provide entertainment- such as Rod Stewart and Tina Turner tributes, Brazilian dancers etc.
Very well placed for the lovely Marina at Cala Dor which has lots of good restaurants.

All in all a lovely hotel in a beautiful, family friendly resort
