A wonderfully friendly family run hotel on a beautiful unspoilt island, overseen by George who is a character in himself. This is what Greece used to be like. It is up the hill from the harbour - but Christina (Georges's mum) runs the kitchen and Dimitri (George's dad) looks after the grill, so you never feel the need to eat elsewhere. The beaches are a bit of walk, but there is also a wee bus the got goes round the island, so you can get to the other beaches. There is not much child related activity - but if you (and your child) want to just chill, spend time in the pool, explore the island. Take day trips over to Nidri (where you can buy cheap football strips if you have a football mad child) and a day trip on the "pirate ship" (like Odysseus - well worth it), then this is the holiday for you. Ionian Island Holidays look after you well, with a treat of transfer involving a taxi (!) from the airport and then a speed boat over the Meganisi. It sweetens the pill of the return journey to the aiport!
