We had a fantastic time, although doing it again I would have waited longer as our youngest son is a bit too young. Expensive but so much fun, easy to get to, and everything is made possible. I speak French so probably got a bit more of the services, but the staff was friendly and spoke good English.

Had a great time in the Easter holidays. Stayed in Cheyenne Hotel which was basic but brilliant. Ate breakfast outdoors in the western square.
Disney Studios was great fun too. The Car stunt show was worth the whole ticket price!
Went with 2 boys - 7 and 3. Great age to enjoy it all. Recommend hiring a buggy - both boys fit in and helped when they were exhausted.Read moreLess2 people found this review helpful.

"I've now done Disneyland Hotel and Dream Castle on two…"
09-Aug-2010
I've now done Disneyland Hotel and Dream Castle on two differen tholidays and believe that Disneyland Hotel is definitely worth the extra (although you do have to take a huge swig of alcohol before confirming your booking - the rate is eye-watering compared to the other hotels).
Sheer convenience though makes it fab. It is really quiet despite being at the entrance and is very much a '5-star' standard - excellent service, large rooms, good food.
The swimming pool was very cold and very deep but it opened up onto lovely grounds so was still nice to come back to after a morning in the park.
If you can't afford this hotel, then go to one of the others and you will still have an amazing time. But if you can afford the differential then it is a no-brainer. Genuine 5-star feel, good buffet breakfast, no buses to get round, and access to the park an hour before it opens. Worth the extra in my view.Read moreLessMumsnetter StillSquiffy

"I wasn't sure when booking whether to book the Disneyland…"
28-May-2009
I wasn't sure when booking whether to book the Disneyland hotel or spend several hundred euro less and stay at the New York or Newport. But as it was very off peak in January when we went, I booked the Disneyland hotel and got a great deal (?812 for 3 nights B & B). If we go back, which we will hopefully, I would definitely stay there again. As other reviewers mention, the location is superb and the hotel itself is lovely. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, standard of housekeeping and cleanliness is excellent and the staff are lovely. Food is not great and room-service food was pretty poor. But there's a huge selection at the breakfast buffet and you're quite safe with fruit, pastries and cereals. You can take some rolls etc. for later in the day and fill up juice bottles to take with you also. You can meet characters outside the restaurant at breakfast time and if you're getting pics taken, try do a few characters over a 2 day period because the more pics you buy, the cheaper the unit price, and the shop keeps them for 48 hours. Dinner is expensive but was worth it as the characters come into the restaurant and come round the tables. Overall, whilst it is a lot more expensive than the other hotels in the resort, I do think it's worth every penny. We visited the New York hotel and it also seemed nice and, in fact, it has a much better pool but it lacked the magic of the Disneyland hotel.

The most magical experience! and of all the hotels this is THE ONE to stay in - the only problem was that it was so good, none of us wanted to go to bed! so by the end of our 5 day break we were all exhausted. Literally situated over the gates to the main park, and therefore you can fall out of the park into the hotel and vice versa - great if you have little ones that need a snooze so not far to go.
The only down side is the cost - food especially is a little expensive, but somehow the magic takes over. A true fairytale.Read moreLessMumsnetter twiggy1971

"We stayed here for two nights. Multi-lingual staff were very…"
05-Feb-2008
We stayed here for two nights. Multi-lingual staff were very helpful and service was pretty much excellent throughout. Housekeeping standards are very high - which, considering the fast turn over of guests, must take some doing. They seem to have an army of people polishing, sweeping and keeping everything just so - so full marks there.
Standard room was a good size with two double beds, so would accommodate family of four if you don't mind sharing with the kids. Lots of Disney touches in the room, which was a tad chintzy for my tastes, but very nice and very Disney! Particularly liked the ballerina hippo tiles in the bathroom - and the fact that all the bathroom goodies were replaced each day. Didn't use the pool or spa - kept seeing signs for them but never managed to locate them - but this wasn't a problem as we were having far too much fun in the park to be bothered about a swim or a steam.
Breakfast is "bustling" to say the least, but we were seated really quickly and the buffet selection was fine, although I'd recommend sticking to the pastries, cereal and like, as the hot food was a tad tepid. We also somehow found ourselves in the Cafe Fantasia bar each night - can recommend the very nice cocktails and complimentary nibbles. (Although was quite surreal to walk out to be confronted by Friar Tuck, in badger form.) Loads of characters stalk the halls of this place, and it's lovely to see how the kids respond. Mind you, they are very realistic - none of your moth-eared costumes here - and I did find myself waving back once or twice.
Undoubtedly, one of the best things about the hotel is its location - smack bang next to the park gates. Great for if you have little ones who tire easily (as you can nip back and let them have a nap if needs be) and also good for adults too, as we were exhausted by the end of each day.
All in all, a high standard of accommodation and service, and a fab' location. (Particularly as you can catch the Eurostar virtually to the front door.) Would totally recommend to anyone visiting - with or without kids.Read moreLessMumsnetter AbbyMumsnet

The best place to stay when visiting Disneyland Paris. My kids would get tired in the park after a few hours, so staying on site enabled us to go back to the room, have a rest and then go out again. I highly recommend a Castle Club room. These are considered suites (they're not, just hotel room and bathroom) but you get a VIP fastpass. A regular fastpass lets you queue jump once, the VIP one gives unlimited queue jumps. Expensive but worth it. The evening buffet is also very good, huge range of dishes and Disney characters entertaining your children while you and partner enjoy a glass of wine. (Oh that's expensive too). Avoid food in park. The French are not good at junk food, a fact which I am sure they are proud of.

Just perfect... Yes, expensive - but so very convenient when at the end of the day you can just walk with no busy bus transfers. Accommodation very comfortable with special touches...gold choc coins on pillow at night, Disney theme throughout. Breakfast was busy and the characters come to visit in the main hall where photos can be taken. The staff are very trained and very pleasant and overall the whole place is very clean and very child friendly.
Highly recommended. Just go!Read moreLessMumsnetter winniewoo
