Club Med La Palmyre Atlantique France

A very relaxing holiday where everything you could need for small children was provided; baby bath, changing mat, bottle warmer, travel cot (with proper mattress) and an area of the restaurant with highchairs, baby food and blenders. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is an excellent beach and pool and the food (buffets), for mass catering, was very good. We booked through Low Cost Travel and received a discount. We flew to La Rochelle and a taxi was waiting to meet us, with the appropriate car seats, to take us to the resort. We did not use the kids club but most of the children were French so French is the main language. There is a zoo on the doorstep and you can hire bikes to cycle on the flat and very well maintained tracks.

Excellent all round holiday for families. Great kids' activities - even better if your kids like clubs, which are very good for older (ie six plus) or younger (ie up to three) children. Not so good for "in betweens" as club for three to five year olds is very babyish. Food is outstanding, beach brilliant and pool perfect. Accomodation was fantastic. Early kids tea and entertainment in pm.
