Hotel Cipriani in Venice, traditionally a more sophisticated choice for the discerning traveller, has really excelled itself with its new kids club. We went there two weeks ago and can only say good things. Monica was so well looked after and I was so pleased that instead of sitting in a room all day watching DVD's and playing Wii, she was taken out into Venice for trips to the market, experienced her first pizza making class, made her own Venetian mask and even learnt a few words of Italian! The staff were brilliant and the children's supervisor spoke English which was a real plus. I would recommend it to any family who wants a bit of alone or R&R time, but who doesn't necessarily want to leave the little ones behind. Best of all, the service is completely free!
