A fantasic Christmas week ski holiday. Childcare for our 20 month old was great. A huge play suite with every toy under the sun and a max of two toddlers per carer. We went for Christmas week and there were only 4 toddlers in the huge play suite. Evenings were great for the adults as we left our toddler sleeping in our room with the monitor on and enjoyed a delicious leisurely meal where we were paired with various other couples each night which made for good company. Some rooms were further away in which case there was a free baby listening service back in the play suite. St Anton is quite an advance resort so i wouldn't particularly recommended it for beginners.

I must also mention that all the staff were lovely too.

Downsides: Well due to the weather our flight home was delayed but by then we knew other familes and made the best of it. Accomodation wise our daughter was in the same room as us which meant some early starts. We've stayed with Mark Warmer (in Greece) before in a junior suite which put her in a screened off section which was excellent value for money.

We returned to this holiday this year at Easter with our 3 and 5 years old children after a very successful holiday at the same chalet last year. We were disappointed by the child care (unengaging) and the food (often a mark Warner achilles heel) and by the teaching in ski school for the children. Given the premium paid for the child care, the staff were perfectly sweet but not at all good with providing a stimulating and comforting environment. St Anton is however a wonderful resort for good level skiers and the Wellness centre provides an excellent retreat for children and non skiers. There's also great food to be had at several restaurants and a some fun shopping and sledging to be had. Feel Mark Warner need to raise their game though for us to be enticed back.
