Chalet Foehn

Beautiful beautiful chalet in Samoens run by Tina and Julian of Ski Massif. Unbelievable food cooked by Tina every night and every morning - her porridge is to die for.
My then 1 year old DS loved the in-house childcare provided in the mornings 9-2 for very young. Older kids can be taken and collected from the village nursery. Kids in ski school can be collected from their lessons up the mountain then brought back to the chalet for lunch and returned to parents at 2.

Tina's daughter was actually able to provide babysitting on some afternoons and for the evening off as well, making it all very stress free for parents ski-ing for the first time with a child.

We were ferried to lifts each morning and collected in the evening and before dinner we could have a snowy soak in the hot tub with a beer. There were 2 double rooms with own bathroom, a family room for 4 with own bathroom and a twin and triple (with bunks) sharing a bathroom, all very comfortable. Wonderful holiday despite that season's (2010/11) lack of snow. Can't recommend Tina and Julian enough, we'll definitely go back to Chalet Foehn.
