Skiing in Breckenridge is "an absolute must for the kids." I agree - it is a long flight but the runs are so uncrowded and well staffed so that you hardly queue and if you do PUSHING IN IS NOT TOLERATED! Lots of lovely wide blues, someone described them as being as wide as Belgium. Speedy and frequent bus ride for short hop into town, ski in and out, the total cost for this holiday for 10 days was not dissimilar to more expensive and much more crowded holidays in Europe. Don't believe them when they say you don't need to book lessons in advance, you do in busy periods, though prob only a few days in advance. Beaver Run is a bit 'tired' but has a good pool, lots of space, games room and is right on the slopes, our apartment was a good size. We went with Erna Low. (slightly cheaper!).
