Appartmenthotel Post

Zell am See is a wonderful family resort. Very pretty and traditionally Austrian. Lots of restaurants and bars welcoming of families. The Appartments are very central, surrounded by a variety of shop, including shops for skis/boot hire. Just behind the appartments is the bus station which can take you to Schmitten for the nursery slopes, the buses here also go to Kaprun and into Salzberg.
About 100 meters away is the transcity express cable car which leads you to variety of ski lifts.
The appartments have a boot room in the cellar which is of great benefit, especially as it keeps the wet boots etc out of your accomodation.
The website photos do not really do the apartments any justice- We stayed in a three bedroom apartment which was quite simply beautiful. Very large and perfct for families.

We werefirst time skiers and would not hesitate to return to this resort, it is perfect for first timers and as already mentioned- absolute magic for families.
