The Priory Hotel

This was a last minute booking so we were just happy to get accommodation.

The building was nice (rambling Victorian), the gardens were pretty with the remains of a ruin in them which was an interesting feature.

The Hotel itself was a little tired inside, the diningroom was lovely and looked like it had been decorated recently but the decor in the rooms was in need of freshening up, however the rooms themselves were very clean and the linen/towels were fresh. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay, the first was nice as it was two adjoining rooms and our boys could sleep in one room and us in the other, the next room we stayed in was just an average family room with two single beds and a double.

All in all the hotel wasn't spectacular but the rooms were clean, although the decor a little shabby, the staff were friendly and the cooked breakfast was perfect.
