We've been to the Bulstone over a period of a number of years, with two and now 3 children, and we have always had a brilliant time.
This is the sort of place that may make you raise one eyebrow at first, its owner is "quirky" but great fun, his wife makes fantastic home-made food and is lovely. The place has a bit of shabbiness about it, but the atmosphere and charm more than make up for this. Don't go expecting to be living in the lap of luxury, but in terms of practicals for babies and kids, outside space, amazing food, lovely kids' teas, it more than makes up for it being a bit unkempt.
