"We were lucky enough to spend a night at the…"
We were lucky enough to spend a night at the Bath Arms Hotel recently. It's on the Longleat estate, about a mile away from the house. The hotel is quite small with only 15 rooms, and is a gorgeous conversion. The rooms are all individually decorated and ours was very comfortable (with a free standing roll top bath and views to die for - I had to be dragged out!). The gardens are also lush and pretty.
We ate dinner in the restaurant, from their a la carte menu and it was delicious. We have a baby and a six year old and found children well accommodated for. The staff were lovely and friendly. The atmosphere was very stylish and relaxed, with comfy sofas and latest copies of all the glossy magazines in rooms and the reception/bar area for persual.
The close proximity to Longleat makes it an ideal place to stay for a night if you're spending a couple of days at the park.Read moreLess
