More normally a Stopover Hotel as very close to the Ferry. We stayed 2 nights for a family occasion.
Well it was very nice. Good value for 61 quid a night for a family room. Spotlessly clean, rooms a fair size, decent shower. Flat screen tvs with sky. Hair dryer, kettle with extra coffee etc available in reception. King size v. comfy bed with 2 child beds set up either side. Still room to move about.
The restaurant/bar was cosy. Lots of sofas and wood. 2 children eat free for each adult buying an all you can eat brekkie. The children can have cooked breakfast too if they want, or there is toast, cereal, yoghurts, fruit, croissants etc.
Food in the evening was a bit mixed. It's mostly out of the freezer, so not possible to have say spaghetti WITHOUT sauce. 3.99 for a child's main course. Had some lovely spare ribs, and a great curry last night. BIL's lemon sole with rice was nasty though. My cousin had a steak and said it was lovely. It's all very reasonably priced so overall no complaints.

In fact they did all sleep in one room, there was enough space. But against the rules apparently, one of the dcs was supposed to be in MY room....Read moreLess
