"Best Festival for Children - chilled and fun…"
This is small to medium sized festival that is incredibly family friendly. As well as a good music selection there are loads of activities for children and adults including circus skills, dance workshops, author visits and talks. The camping is on the Cheltenham racecourse so lovely lush grass - and you can drive your car to the camping field, unload, then drive it to the carpark. This alone makes it the most easy festival to visit with small children.
Don’t expect top-ten chart music artists as this is a lower budget festival but the bands are pretty much always great and it’s the being there that counts. It is quite chilled and admittedly quite middle class (was sponsored by Waitrose for a couple of years) but don’t let that put you off.
Oh and the headphone disco is worth a visit.
