awful, badly organised mudbath, many stalls ran out of food, we had starving children , who were bored stiff as it was so small you could cover the site in 10 minutes, well, despite the fact that it was literally knee deep in mud. Childrens activities were either closed, and/or charged for stuff that should have been free. This was the worst festival experience i've ever had and i have survived 3 really muddy glastos. Sorry Galtres.Read moreLess

Imagine a festival with the usual mud bath. Now then imagine it again with back to back kids activities (making, singing, drumming, playing, story time), great headline acts and super-talented folky bands, huge selection of real ales, AND a tent for afternoon tea (but all day!) complete with homemade cakes, flowery carpet and table cloths!
This is a great little family festival with a family camping field. Wonderfully timed for August Bank Holiday. Tickets are on sale now hugely discounted for 2012 on the Forest of galres festival website. Despite the weather the event was magnificent!!!Read moreLess
