Pyla Camping

On the edge of the Arcachon basin at the south end of the Great Pyla Dune this beautiful 5 star campsite is on built on the beach and your tent will be pitched under pine trees. It's a beautiful part of the world and a near perfect campsite. We'd return any time and can't recommend it enough. As well as direct access to amazing beaches, you have swimming pool facilities, playgrounds, climbing walls, games rooms etc plus an animation programme for the kids.

This site is very beautiful. The views are stunning. The panoramic restaurant is great - for a special evening out or just for crepes and ice-cream/breakfast. The pool complex is quite special too - warm/heated pools, toddlers and older children are catered for with the waterslide (easy for a reckless 2.5 year old to go down by himself and to ascend - a safe decked staircase. The shop is well stocked and reasonably priced, the animations lady was lovely too. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
