"I've just read the above review and thought I would"
01-Jan-2012
I've just read the above review and thought I would add my comments as I also went to the same site - with Jantom Holidays! I first went when my 2 girls were just 2 and 3 and I thought it might be tough going - how wrong could I be! We stayed in a beautiful and immaculate mobile home with all the facilities you could ask for. The site was brilliant - if the weather was bad (which it wasn't, you could stay in the indoor pool all day!) The shop was ideal, we would go to the bar for family entertainment but it's the place. A short drive away and there are beaches that look like the Caribbean, you can have miles of sandy shore and even in peak season, there's so much space. We walk and go on our bikes, we go to the markets and the local towns and villages of Quimper, Concarneau and Locranon which are stunning. We've been now for the last three years and are going again this year and once again we will go with Jantom - and I would recommend anyone planning to go does go with Jantom. The owners are on the site all season so if something goes wrong (we broke the BBQ!!) , Danny or Maureen come and sort it straight away. We spoke to people on the site who were frustrated that they had reported a problem to their holiday company and had to wait for someone at 'head office' to authorise a repair or replacement - particularly problematic to one couple who's fridge had broken! Definately go, take the children, even if they are babies! And book with Jantom, I guarantee you won't regret it!

"I just adored this holiday and can not wait to"
15-Jun-2011
I just adored this holiday and can not wait to go back! We had such an amazing time. We booked through www.jantomholidays.com (very reasonable) which is run by Dan & Maureen, a lovely couple who made sure everything was perfect for us. They gave us loads of information with regards to places to visit and were really helpful. We stayed in a cottage style mobile home which was spacious and comfortable, the decking had plenty of room too. The placement itself was great as we had sunshine on the deck from morning till late. The camp site is huge though not noisy or intrusive in any way, there was loads to do on the site which is great when you have an 11 year old with you! The main attraction was the pool area, the first set of pools are in a huge dome which is heated with slides and jacuzzi etc and the second set of pools (3) are outside again with slides and a lap pool and a kids pool, we did spend a fair amount of time there. The beach is about a 5 mins walk away, 10 mins if you are a slow walker and it is beautiful, there are quite a few restaurants by the beach worth checking out too,the market is also near the beach I think it was there on the Tuesday and that too is well worth a visit. Tip for you, if you have a child and are going, take a scooter for them, all the kids had them. Oooh nearly forgot, there is an assault course up in the trees which has about 5 zip wire lines and loads of obstacles to get through, it is very challenging and very well thought out, I loved it as did my DD & DH, there is also a kids one on site, though my DD did the adult one (a lot quicker than I did!)there is also a bar & restaurant with a takeaway too. There are other attractions like bouncy castle and pony/horse rides, I am sure I have forgotten some of the attractions, however for me the main attraction about this holiday, is that it made me feel thoroughly relaxed and was stress free which is a major bonus. My DD wants to go back in August she had such a fabulous time!
