Comments from other Mumsnetters:
This site manages to retain its Bretagne style despite the great facilities. It centres around the bar: a converted farmhouse and the games room and children's playground directly outside. This made evenings fun for all and really easy. There's a farm on the site with pony trecking, which was fabulous for the kids. Also recommended for older children: We hardly saw my three (16, 10 and 6) who made lots of friends and spent the whole time at the playing field. The site is clean with excellent facilities for campers. Its also just up the road from the fabulous sandy beaches of Carnac.Read moreLessMumsnetter RachelMumsnet

We have visited this campsite four times, we have five children and we have gone with other families on three occasions. I cannot recommend this site highly enough. The facilities are first class, the beaches in the area are wonderful, La Trinite is perfect for small children and Carnac for all ages. The bar/restaurants on the site are great, with a good crown and live entertainment and the site is well staffed so that event the older children (early - mid teens) can have a certain amount of freedom but are not allowed to run riot. We have always taken our own caravan and rented a tourer pitch, (overnight ferry, portsmouth - St Malo) the Shower/washing facilities are first rate and out children and us have always made lots of lasting friendships.

A very large site (c550 pitches) of which around 450 are mobile homes. We didn't like the feel of that so much as other sites we've been on where there were more tents. We went with Canvas, who have only eight tents on site, reasonably sited and the shade will be welcome in summer. Some other pitches looked decidedly duff (deep shade, campsite road in front, footpath behind). Pool complex very good and reasonable site shop. Didn't use the bar. Restaurant fine but slow; didn't use the takeaway. Tennis courts and other sports facilities on site looked OK but we didn't use them. Nice clean shower blocks. Everyone friendly and helpful. Site only ten minutes drive from Carnac town and beaches (lots of lovely ones) and right by the menhirs.

I can't praise this campsite highly enough. We have visited three times and my children love it. I can't vouch for facilities for younger hcildren but for those 8 and above it's paradise.
Our pitches have always been very good and the bathrooms are very clean.Read moreLessMumsnetter lilibet
