"Just had a week here with Keycamp in a mobile"
19-Jul-2010
Just had a week here with Keycamp in a mobile home with our 2 year old.
Really enjoyed our stay. Our mobile home was quite close to the bar and swimming pool, which meant we got some noise but never later than 11pm and not every night. Being close to the bar meant we had a large area of grass in front of our mobile home. Some of the mobile homes were a bit more squashed and the Keycamp tents seemed to be particular close together.
Swimming pool complex was great, two good size pools for swimming, plus a toddler pool with a slide and two big slides into a smaller pool.
Two good sized play areas as well as tennis/table tennis/badminton courts. It seemed really good for older, active kids.
Although the mini-fun station wasn't officially running, they were happy with our 2 year old visiting the tent and borrowing toys. Very friendly actually. The kids clubs that were running seemed popular.
The shop was well equipped and the takeaway did excellent pizza!
You can easily walk into Houlgate which is lovely town with a covered market and lots of shops and restaurants. The beach there is sandy and good for swimming.
Only a 45min drive from Caen too.
Would definitely consider returning another year.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"Campsite seemed nice enough but children's club and Eurocamp staff"
30-Aug-2008
Campsite seemed nice enough but children's club and Eurocamp staff were not totally organised which led to some problems during our stay. Pitches were quite close together and some were near a railway line which led to some noise. Normandy itself was a good location with enough to see to occupy our stay and the campsite was close to many attractions.

"We stayed here too, with Eurocamp, and had to rely"
30-Aug-2008
We stayed here too, with Eurocamp, and had to rely on the Mini Fun Station for our 3yr old quite heavily as it rained every day! She enjoyed the facilities although don't expect trained kid's entertainers as staff - just nice enough gap year students. Parc itself is quiet and sedate - nice if that's what you prefer - and the Normandy area is absolutely smashing. Lots of interesting things to see and do nearby, and nice to be within walking distance of a pleasant town. They'll lend you a buggy and you can hire bikes, so it's easy to explore. Really enjoyed it here.
