"Thoroughly recommend. Fabulous with a 3yr old. There is so"
21-Jun-2011
Thoroughly recommend. Fabulous with a 3yr old. There is so much to do which is included: bouncy castle by the bar/ restaurant, 5 pools including baby 20cm, 40cm toddler one with mini-slide, covered 1.1m 'swimming' pool, 2 big slides into small circular pool, round 1.1-1.4m pool. There is a lake for fishing (buit far away with gates if you have little ones!), big trampoline (6 indiivdual ones), childrens play area, 3 keycamp/ eurocamp kids clubs, full size basketball pitch, crazy golf (1.5 euros), ping pong (50cents for the ball and bats are free), ponies (you pay extra for this), face painting... good reasonable shop and take away. Our pitch (mobile home) was lovely with hedges which were trimmed whilst we were there. Good& easily accessible washing machines & dryers (5euros each). Generally lovely and immaculately clean.

"This is a good site with a newly upgraded water"
23-Nov-2010
This is a good site with a newly upgraded water complex. We found the pitch size slightly on the small side, but on the plus side the entertainment on the site was great and there is lots to visit nearby, including the fishing port of Guilvinec where you can watch about 40 small boats coming racing in at the same time to land their catch. To find out some more about this site we found[[www.bestfrenchcampsites.com/campsites/benodet/benodetindex.html]] to be useful.

"A fabulous site. We went with Keycamp. Would recommend this"
14-Sep-2010
A fabulous site. We went with Keycamp. Would recommend this site. We went last week of June and first of July. Lots of activities to suit everyone, whether its wine tasting and French lessons or tennis lessons and volleyball tournaments or watching football on big screen in the bar. Lovely restaurant. We also saw some great Vendeen dancers.
There are also ponies and canoes etc on this site and its also a great site to take your own tent.
If you go to this area you must visit Puy du Fou. A great day out. Its only an hour's drive away. We found this campsite on www.bestfrenchcampsites.com You can see more photographs etc on there. Personally I didnt expect to like the beach resorts along the Vendeen coast and I am afraid it was as I expected. However you can also do boat trips on the salt flats there. Also we had a mini heatwave when we were there so it was very hot !Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"This French campsite has the best of both worlds: a"
12-May-2010
This French campsite has the best of both worlds: a peaceful wooded setting with spacious pitches and on-site facilities for young children to enjoy; whilst being a 10-15 minute drive from some of the best beaches on the Atlantic coast of France. Drive on to the Ile D'Oleron to the bay St Denis and lap up the fabulous sandy beach with gentle slope into the refreshing sea. No wonder the Dutch and Germans have holiday homes here !
