Castell Montgri

Great campsite. It has two pools, one with slides a huge pool for swimming in. Children's pool attached to the main pool.Plenty of room around the pool to sunbathe.
There is entertainment every night, the quality of this varies, but it's all good fun. Prior to the 'act' starting there is a sort of mini disco for the younger members of the party.Films are shown nightly on a huge screen outside.

There is a well stocked supermarket onsite with resonable prices.The campsite has a restaurant, rather pricey and a cafe, prices ok but quality variable. Just across the road is a well established Lidl store and fifteen minutes down the road on foot is the town of Estartit- with shops, a beach,and restaurants.

Great place to use as a base, or just to mooch about on the site for a day or two.

A large site with lots going on: great pool complexes for adults and children of all ages, crazy golf, evening entertainment (our kids loved the kid's disco) and nightclub for the teens - infact there seemed to be loads going on for the teenageers. This is a very clean and well managed site, depsite it's size with a good range of restaurant/bars on site. Estartit wasn't anything too special - although there are a lot of shops and bars and sandy beach, but there are some great places to explore around the area. Only thing I found was that there were a number of areas difficult to navigate with a pushchair - lots of steps and lack of ramps - the supermarket was one example. We had a good time though, largely due to the great facilities, clean and safe site and sunshine!

This is an enormous site. I worked on it one summer as a rep and it took that long to find my way around. There are good facilities - pools, restaurants, a cinema etc so there is plenty to do. The major problem I think is the size and the fact that it is up a hill so there can be a fair bit of walking. Not one for the unfit!
